Anisa, This comment actually made me laugh aloud. I went to a friend's house the other day, where the parents, who were both born an raised in Syria, were having "a traditional syrian dish." They offered some to me and, being the curious person I am was intrigued to try some. I took one bite and realized I probably should have asked what it was before i tried it. It ended up being some sort of cow innards or something (I didn't really want the specifics). I hope you had a great trip and I look forward to seeing you in the fall! Your student, Jimmy c
