Ahlan Wa Sahlan!
I wanted to say how much I absolutely love reading your posts! The pictures you have taken are so beautiful! I am truly jealous of the journey you are on right now and I hope you are throughly enjoying your summer. For me, it has been amazing to feel what it's like to truly have no stress again. During the school year, I believe we all get lost in the stress, caught up in our on social bubbles, and don't get the chance to really pay attention or be a part of the world that surrounds us. It sounds like you're having an amazing experience right now. What do you miss most about being away? Or are you enjoying being away so much that you hardly notice how quickly time passes? I can't wait for your next blog post/to see some of the other pictures you have taken!
Shukran!

Hi Anisa, from reading your blog I can tell that you are having an amazing summer. I am in Russia and have two weeks left here. What I did not know before I came to Kazan is that the majority of the population is muslim (including my host family). I have also learned, however, that this does not mean that anyone that I have encountered speaks arabic. Although I have been here for only four weeks, it already feels like home. I know that when I get back home and school starts again I am going to miss everything about Kazan, and I will want to come back next summer, but I would also like to see other parts of the world. How do you balance wanting to go back and visit people and places you have already been with wanting to explore new places and meet new people?
